SGUARDI
"Come and look at the people,
feel their presence,
and see yourself."
In his new solo exhibition in Bergamo, Benjamin Royaards presents recent paintings in which human presence, landscape and nature meet. His distinctive work captures people in the simplicity of everyday life, with authenticity, empathy and tenderness. His figures seem to extend beyond the moment depicted, as if the canvas has preserved something of their lives.
